This week, we saw CBB come to an end. But what we really want to know is who won the fashion stakes!? Pulling in the most requests on our radar is of course, presenter Emma Willis! Her fabulous high street wardrobe saw TOPSHOP and ZARA go head to head in the battle to become Style on Screen’s most sought after brand!
In the TOPSHOP corner, her pretty embellished white dress matched with an ivory coat was a smash, as was her sleek and flawless monochrome jacket and jumpsuit combination she wore on Final night. (Let’s not forget that Striped Prom Dress she wore on Launch Night that sold out just MINUTES after we tweeted it out!) Fighting ZARA’s corner are two phenomenal coats… Her baby blue cocoon coat sent our radar off the charts, but the conversation about her long pale pink coat was positive amongst our followers too, with both charming their way into audience’s hearts.
We’re surprised that Emma didn’t rock as many high end designers as she did last year. We saw the flawless McQueen coat and the impeccable laser cut red skirt from Sandro – but did Emma keeping her wardrobe cheap and cheerful just for us fans? We hope so anyway! We’re just really sad we won’t be seeing anymore of those fabulous coats on The Voice!
Sam Faiers has been a regular on our hot list. Her love of labels AQ/AQ and WildFox have been noticeable and have driven our followers bonkers! But her Forever Unique eviction dress was to die for! Fans won’t enjoy the price tag but it didn’t stop them hammering us with requests! And the Apprentice Runner Up Luisa left the house in the same fabulous way she entered – in stunning red Azzedine Alaïa. It proved a very popular colour with our followers. We can’t see this colour being ousted from the trends just yet.
On top for the boys was Ollie Locke. His most requested article of clothing was a fabulous pig jumper! Sad news is, it turned out to be vintage!
Sunday’s Super bowl created a huge uproar on twitter for all the wrong reasons, in the shape of Joe Namath’s real fur coat. Our radar was buzzing with the negative conversation surrounding the vintage coat which begs the question, ‘Should he have been allowed to wear such a controversial piece to such a major event?!’. Made In Chelsea’s Lucy Watson has just kicked off her PETA campaign… we wonder what she has to say about that!?
This week has seen Susannah Reid and Louise Minchin on our radars – not our usual sources of fashion! Susannah’s purple dress received great feedback on twitter and Louise really made a splash in a cream Havren dress.
Are news readers becoming style icons? They’re looking more and more fabulous on our screens every day, and they dress like the everyday woman… no wonder we get inundated with requests! Their outfits are fabulous
