Trending Shows – Made in Chelsea Finale!
Booo, MIC has come to an end once again! This series, we’ve seen a massive spike interest for the wardrobe of Stephanie Pratt, as female audiences have taken a shining to her colourful high street leather jacket collection. But we don’t think we’ll ever stop championing Lucy Watson for her love of high street – viewers are always thrilled to find her outfits online within minutes of seeing them on screen. This week, her pale Miss Selfridge blazer and shorts were a hit, and the last minutes of the episode delivered Lucy’s most popular look of the series, in the form of a gorgeous Regal Rose choker necklace! There’s actually been a surprising lack of interest in the boys’ outfits this series… they haven’t been getting much air time, thanks to Binky’s dramatic storyline. #WeNeedMoreProudlock! We’re DYING for Mark-Francis to appear on our radar, maybe his New York wardrobe will spur on the lads!
The Only Way Is Marbs!
We’re counting down the hours till The Only Way Is Marbs airs this Sunday! We’ve been getting a sneak peak at some of the outfits all week, and boy are they FABULOUS! Jess Wright has sent twitter into meltdown this week as the ladies scrambled to get their hands on her snake print playsuit from Rare London, as well as her sold out printed bandeau dress from Pink Tiger! She’s also been spotted in two fab looks from Missguided that picked up a bit of traction in the week! Lydia Bright, who returned to the show in the last episode of last series, has also had the ladies on the style hunt! She donned a gorgeous purple embellished dress, and floral co-ords from Miss Selfridge on two separate outings that trended throughout both days. She also made a splash, pun intended, in a Ted Baker one piece swimsuit! Sadly, we can’t say the same about Bobby Cole Norris and Harry Derbidge’s new man ‘sock’ beach trend. While the press seemed to be lapping it up, they certainly didn’t prove to be very popular with the public! As most of the fans will have already seen the outfits, we wonder if the paparazzi coverage of the boys and girls in Marbs will affect the trends throughout the show? Will the audience react in the same way on a large scale like the main series?
Trending Celeb - Thierry Henry & Rio Ferdinand
It seems to be the only thing on our TV screens at the moment, so it makes sense that a few sportsmen would be churning up a fair amount of buzz – but did we expect it to be for their fashion choices? Frenchman, Thierry Henry became a cheeky style icon over night after appearing on the pundits panel in a super suave cardigan; he even prompted online news outlets to write an article or two! The cardigan in question? It’s a knitted-silk Gucci number, and it retails at around £500! While we think he looked quite smart and dapper, the majority of lads on twitter thought he was lacking a bit of his old va-va-voom! Our own Rio Ferdinand also started to trend on Sunday night after the boys took a liking to his light grey casual shirt. It’s the first time we’ve noticed a predominantly male interest in a celebrity on screen; there didn’t seem to be any females tweeting their interest in the shirt at all. Can we expect more of the same over the next month? It’ll be interesting to see what trends appear from an exclusively male demographic.
