Rachel Riley has become one of our highest trending celebrities of the week as audiences have been swooning over her wardrobe in two separate shows, ‘Countdown’ and it’s comedy counterpart ‘8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown’. Amongst her fan favourite looks is an orange embroidered skater dress by Almost Famous, and the white ‘Busaba’ dress by Bernshaw that she’s been seen in more than once. She also has a penchant to mixing both high end and high street, wearing Issa and ASOS. But this week, she turned heads on BT Sport in a gorgeous olive grid print dress by Ohne Titel. Rachel was also given a fashion thumbs up following her appearance at London Fashion Week as she was seen wearing the very popular sequin mini dress by Maje. Rachel’s young and flirty style is a hit with the audiences of both shows. Her Countdown wardrobe attracts a more maturer audience thanks to its afternoon time slot, while late night ‘Catsdown’ is a hit with the young adults. We’re already looking forward to her next batch of outfits when ‘Catsdown’ returns in the winter. Way to go, Rachel!
Gwen Stefani kicked off her new role on NBC’s The Voice in style on Monday night but it was surprisingly not because of her own flawless wardrobe! Despite rocking some serious L.A.M.B satin harem pants, fans of the show wanted to get their hands on the home made ‘Team Gwen’ t-shirts. Obviously, the tees are ‘members only’ but there’s plenty of opportunity for supporters to show their love for Team Gwen out there. Those fab tees shot to the top of our trends list and are currently the highest trending outfit of the week! We’ll also keeping our eye on Adam Levine’s wardrobe this season. His vintage looking tribal print shirt got a thumbs up from the male viewers. There’s some great alternatives on the market so fans can easily channel his suave style.
Pretty Little Liars has become a key player at Style on Screen. Season 5 paused for hiatus last month but that hasn’t stopped fans of the show tweeting and requesting outfit IDs from their favourite character. Even though the show is currently off air, we’ve recently seen fans in search of Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) colour block cut out dress, and Mona’s blue ice cream sweater. The most popular of the girls is Aria, played by Lucy Hale. Her quirky dress sense is always a hit with the fans. Her most recent sought after outfit included a denim tiger print jacket, and a faux leather skirt from Forever 21. Accessories are also proving very popular on the show. When it first aired, Aria’s pink Rebecca Minkoff bag became of the most requested items we’ve seen for a fictional character! It looks like show stylists Laura Shuffman & Saba Salehi have been doing a great job. We love that most of the outfits can be found at high street prices, which is great news for the age range of the audience. The success of the show’s fashion has even resulted in a collection at US brand, Aeropostale. Characters can also be spotted in outfits from the line on the show too. There’s no doubt that the Pretty Little Liars are amongst TV’s most fashionable characters and we’re beginning to wonder if any other fictional ladies will be capable of knocking them of the top spot.
