There’s a fash off at Style On Screen as two of our favourite TV style icons went head to head last Thursday in the same Sandro top! Eagle eyed viewers noticed that Alex and Emma both wore the mesh polka dot look on The One Show and Big Brother’s Bit On The Side respectively. Alex’s stylist Tess Wright expertly added a pop of colour to the ensemble with a fab blue skirt from Whistles whilst Emma wore hers with a pair of sleek black trousers. Either way, it proved to be a very popular top with both ladies pulling in a large amount of interest from their female audiences. Well played, girls! Both ladies have been rocking some of the most fabulous frocks over the past couple of weeks with both Tumble and Big Brother reaching their finales. Let’s take a quick look back at their hottest high street and designer styles. Alex’s most popular outfit includes her striking red Paper London dress and black embellished dress by ASOS. For the finale, she wore an angelic white Virgos Lounge skater dress that saw her become one of our highest trending celebrities. Emma’s pink Kenzo dress proved to be incredibly popular, along with her navy racer back Finders Keepers dress from Friday night’s finale. But it was the chic monochrome dress from H&M that really had her fans in a tizzy.
Animal print is set to be one of the biggest trends this season with a focus on the classic leopard print style. Balmain, Givenchy and Saint Laurent to name a few all dropped gorgeous animal prints in their AW 14 collections and there’s plenty of celebrity muses to take inspiration from too. We’ve seen Jenni Falconer working the head to toe look in a leopard print jumpsuit from ZARA, while Millie Mackintosh opted for a slightly more subtle leopard Steve Madden heel. In the monochrome corner, Kylie Minogue and Rosie Huntington-Whitely have both showcased Balmain’s zebra print bodycon dress at two separate events, and we’re still obsessing about Rochelle Humes’ snake print shirt from REISS.

The summer holidays are over and the usual style suspects are back in business at ITV. The very fashionable ladies of Loose Women returned to our screens last week and we’ve already seen female tweeters in search of Jane Moore’s green Topshop top and Andrea McLean’s pink dress from ASOS. Viewers have also given a fashion thumbs up to new panellist Penny Lancaster who wore a gorgeous white crossover midi skirt by Nicholas on Monday. As we’ve mentioned before, the styles on Loose Women have catered for the audiences’ broad age range but we might be seeing that all change now that Claire Richards and Myleene Klass are no longer panellists. Jamelia, it’s over to you! We also welcomed Holly and Phil back to the sofa over at This Morning but we were surprised to find that Holly’s fab maternity wardrobe isn’t picking up as much interest as it did before her break. Interestingly, it’s Phil who has become the ‘This Morning Style Icon’ thanks to his fabulous collection of shirts fit for Autumn/Winter!. His efforts from Ben Sherman prompted a quite a few male viewers to ask about details. His grey plaid shirt from J Crew was also a hit with both female and male viewers. Keep it up, Schofe!
