The One Show host Alex Jones has made quite a few appearances at Style On Screen in the past week, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen her make a big impact on our radar. Her fluoro patterned dress scored big with viewers and tweeters this week on The One Show. The ASOS dress is currently out of stock but we’re sure we’ll be seeing the popularity surge if it comes back into stock. Bad news for the lovers of her white patterned Ted Baker ‘Tea for Two’ sweater as well… it’s currently out of stock too!
Alex also wears her fair share of high street, particularly Zara. This week, her simple black embellished-neck top was a hit, as were the tartan trousers she was spotted in back in early January. Looks like you’ve got to be quick to nab Alex’s style! We expect we’ll be seeing more of her in the coming months! Should we count on more high street bargains or will she dazzle us with some higher end outfits soon?
Here come the boys! The men are back on top at Style on Screen this week and weighing in for the lads this week are Tom Daley, Rylan Clark and Philip Schofield. In case you missed it, Tom was announced as the face of Adidas’ new streetwear brand, NEO. His grey crew neck jumper that he was spotted in (no pun intended) on Sunday’s Splash made waves on our radar with both the male and female crowd! With Tom’s help, the high street casual wear line is sure to be a big seller with people of all ages.
Surprisingly enough, Rylan’s appearance on This Morning on Monday was enough to get the crowds tweeting in looking for his sharp red blazer from Topman. Sadly, the actual blazer is sold out – probably because the staff at Butlin’s needed new uniform! We’re joking! Rylan’s look was one of our most popular male fashion spots this week. Should we expect a comeback for the bold red blazer?
At the other end of the spectrum, Phillip Schofield’s novelty tie that made its debut on this week’s 80′s themed Dancing On Ice show was a huge hit on twitter! While we can’t see the male population taking 80′s style tips of The Schofe, we absolutely loved it!
Topshop has been in the US for a couple of years now, but it’s seems as though it’s only just starting to be picked up in the major celeb game. We know Kylie Jenner is a fan – having been spotted in various coats from the UK brand, and Beyoncé (yes… BEYONCÉ) has been spotted out and about this past week in numerous outfits from the British fave but the twittersphere came flocking to Style on Screen after spotting THIS Topshop dress on one of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ girls. Now that Topshop has made it onto US TV, let’s hope we see this trend continue! More power to the British high street, that’s what we say!
